Hi Laura,
thank you! I guess I am not the only one in the world who co-sleeps and nurses for an extended period of time. Some people think we are soo strange but it all seems natural to us. We do like having Jacob in our bed though and we don't mind if he is there until he is ready. I just wonder how we will fit both babies in bed. I am buying a co sleeper so the tiny will be in there for the first few months. We have a toddler bed in our room but Jake has no interest in it at all and its not very wide so I worry that he will fall off. At night he rolls over on his tummy and then back and side and he will easily roll off that toddler bed. I think mentally he is just not ready and I don't want to push him too soon. I guess Jay and I are not in a rush to get our bed back though. We were together for 10 years before we had Jacob so we haven't felt that having Jacob in our bed has been a burden. We are actually very cuddly people and we like it. We like being close. I just wonder about the new baby waking Jacob up and how this will work out. I guess we will have to experiment and see how things go. I can try to put him in the toddler be and see if I can get a rail for it. I will let you know how it all pans out.
