The bottom line is that it will be what it will be for you. What happens to others or even you on another fast is no indication of what does or should happen. Some pass mucous some don't.Take it as a good sign and just be glad it's out. BOTI (better out than in) ;+D
I wouldn't put much stock in the tongue thing it can vary so much and some people never get it at all etc etc just press on. Keep in mind that you're not going to clean out a lifetimes worth of build up and abuse even with a 40 day MC. It's just a really good start and the reaping of the real benefits and healing come after the MC and it's all dependant on what you put back into the system and adopting a lifestyle that includes regular exercise.
You're doing great! Pat yourself in the back but don't get booged down in the particulars. Everyone is different and they'll go through different fazes particular to them. You are doing yourself a world of good but the MC is not "IT". It's just clean up. It's actually the easy part where everything is all worked out for you. Really focus and plan for the next faze of rebuilding with nutrition and exercise. That is the hard part that will take focus and dedication. To be succesful, think of the long term goals.
