Chest Pain in AML Patient

Hi, my friend has AML and is currently in 2nd cycle of chemo. In addition to the pain in his bones caused by the changing pressure from the dying cancer cells in the bone marrow, he has chest pain coming from same side as his heart. He does have a Catheter going in to his heart, but the doctors dont think this is the cause, as he has had the same pain before chemo started. Doctors are currently performing various scans to try and find out. Cat scan showed no metasticised bone lesions or abnormalities in chest. Hopefully bonescans and MRI's will find something.

Any suggestions to what could be causing this pain would be helpful. Tweet
