And far, far healthier to eat unsalted raw pistachios or unsalted dry roasted pistachios. The ones most commonly marketed are loaded with salt. If one cannot stand the taste without salt, perhaps a very light dusting with Sea Salt would be OK if the rest of one's diet had sensible amounts and the right kinds of sodium.

Another consideration might be the fact that the contain an average of 170 calories per ounce.

I love their taste though.
