Thanks Richard. No, i wasn't worried about my own feelings. I never took any of this personally. Both of the posts I put up were innocent enough and could be put on both forums, but I wasn't thinking about people replying to them and the friction it could cause with both "camps". If I ever thought I was an addict I might not go the route of AA, but both of my brothers are recovering addicts and are doing the steps and it has probably saved at least one of their lives. I have friends who are in the program and speak it's praises. To me, the most important thing is for addicts to stay sober, and you need to find a system that works and stick with it.
