I had terrible frontal lobe headaches for a couple of weeks when starting with Lugol's. Then I developed Shingles and stopped orally using Lugol's and just painting. Now I am back taking larger doses with no problems. At first I took the Lugol's with grape juice, it worked fine and hid the taste. Now I use capsules, but that is another story.
