I agree with Vulcanel about no fear in some few impurities. The grade is the highest. My only concern is that the process does not have to follow government requirements for human consumable food. On the other hand, Iodine is a disinfectant; so, it should manage most possibilities of contamination. I'm not sure a Science company has to worry about contamination in their manufacturing process. They only have to be concerned with the acceptance of laboratory requirements.

Iodine is a powerful anti-everything. I used to backpack in the Appalachians as a teenager by myself. This was before the movie "Deliverance". I would drink the water; but only after I treated it with a few drops of iodine. I did not care about the grade and I did not know of any so called overdose. I never came down with anything nasty. And certainly no dehydration.
