Re: Reincarnation: Atlantis
I think there are many kinds of souls inhabiting human bodies these dayz -- for all kinds of reasons. I dont believe life is a punishment -- it simply is. To be born into a human/oid body -- to achieve entrance into the highest achievement of that planet's evolution of life is a great achievement, a great honor, and worthy of awe and respect. If one chooses to think of life as a punishment -- that is likely what one will experience.
Life is not always as challenging as it is these dayz. The time we are in demands much of a any soul inhabiting any body, regardless of how experienced w/this plane that soul is.
I agree w/you that God is loving and merciful and that one has essentially an unlimited amount of chances to choose love over separation -- but separation from God is akin to suicide and unless a soul chooses to reunite w/God it will ultimately loose cohesiveness and its ability to function as a separate entity (now how's that for paradox?). What was once an individual soul entity w/a history becomes a part of the one expansive soul that exists as the soul of God.
I most resonate w/your last paragraph. I, too, believe God is a God who loves to share and enjoys to partake of our existence and love of one another.
