NO, the issue is not what happens in the gut as far as glycos are concerned.

Regarding the pseudoscience making the rounds about the glycos not going through the gut etc:

Researchers,yes from M****tech's own labs - (whose reputations are held by Duane to be useless but seemingly by others are well respected,) were awarded the first-place award during the 4th annual 2007 conference on natural supplements sponsored by Scripps Center for Integrative Medicine, in La Jolla, Calif.

This was awarded "for research indicating bacteria from the human digestive tract can break down complex carbohydrates in the company's glyconutritional supplements
(A*****ose)." This is scheduled to be published in the Journal of Alternative and Complementary Medicine.

Huh- snake oil and brainwashers right?

For anyone who truly wants to know- the reason people have reactions in the beginning is due to release of toxins stored in the fat and free radicals- NOT from issues with digestion of the sugars, sorry to contradict our esteemed colleague here. Tweet
