Herbs by pound vs. capsules

MH,
In looking over the prices, it seems like I could save some $ by purchasing some of the herbs by the pound from you rather than in a capsule (such as olive leaf). Are the herbs sold by the pound as concentrated as the capsules?
How do the pound herbs compare to the concentrate of the syrup or tinctures?
