Bentonite & Psyllium Shakes with a side of Antifungal Medication??

Hello ... I've had a rough year medically and been on 12 rounds of Antibiotics (will NEVER do that again) and one round of prednisone. Surprise ... after many docs and a lot of "we can't figure out what's wrong with you" discussions, I've now been diagnosed with Candida Glabrata in my bladder and in my mouth. I was just precribed my second course of Diflucan (1st was for 5 days, this one for 14 days). I started medication on Monday evening.

The doctor ran additional labs on Monday and thinks the Candida is systemic. I've been experiencing bloating (at times I cannot believe my stomach can stretch as far as it has been!), gas, rectal itching, and belly aches.

I would like to begin a Bentonite & Psyllium cleanse ... I actually purchased the ingrediants today (Yerba Prima Whole Psyllim Husks and pure liquid Bentonite). Before I embark on this little journey to cleanse my colon, I am wondering if I should wait until after I finish the Diflucan. My concern is that the Bentonite in the shakes may pull the medication out of my system in addition to the toxins that it's removing. Does anyone have any information about that? It seems logical, but then I thought that perhaps if the Diflucan was taken in the morning and the shake done at night, the Diflucan would be out of my GI tract and in my bloodstream. Thoughts?

I'm also wondering if colon hydrotherapy might be a better way to start while taking the medication and then start the shakes after the Diflucan has done it's job and is out of my system in about 20 days. Or ... if I should just hold off on trying to cleanse my colon while I'm trying to reap the benefits of the Diflucan.

Your expertise is greatly appreciated!

PS ... I'm seven years post gastric-bypass ... any concerns about using these shakes due to that? I'm thinking I will just need to cut the Psyllium husk to about 1/2 tbsp and that should do it.
