Re: is this normal
Yes. HEaling from candida is not a smooth gradual upward climb. It will test your patience to the extreme, because oneday you'll feel like you might be making progress, next day you feel back where you started. It is not predictable and eachtime you go through it, it may not be the same as another time you went through it. Can take many weeks in some cases. It also depends on overall toxic load and what state you're immunity is in. If you have a lot of healing to do, then you maybe in for a far longer and difficult ride than someone who simply has a case of candida and not much more.
E.g. someone may have gotten candida from a course of
Antibiotics and may simply go on the diet and improve after some die off. Someone else may get candida from steroids or whatever.
But if you have candida because your immunity is ladan with something else it has to deal with, then you may find it a much more frustrating struggle.
Basically in order to heal, the body usually retraces and goes over the same symptoms, often in a more intense manner. So your symptoms could worsen or new ones could be added while you go through this. Healing is not quick, but if you are eating healthy and avoiding what you know to avoid, the body knows what it's doing but be aware that where the problems are, is often where the flare ups will occur.
