Re: Pet Foods containing acetomenaphin
China is not regulated. They can produce aspirins in a high school chem lab, if they wish. Or, they can produce products in the bottom of someone's basement. Everything edible from China that is exported across the globe is suspect.
And, just because it says, "Made in Denmark" does NOT mean that the product was, in fact, made in Denmark. What it could (and, most often, DOES) mean is that the product was made in China, shipped unlabeled to Denmark, offloaded from a container ship, taken to a Danish factory, and repackaged and labeled there. Sounds like a huge expense, right? Well, it's cheaper to do it that way than to pay regular wages to local citizens to produce the items.
The bottom line IS money - that's why everyone is purchasing everything FROM China.
