My NDE changed the way I pray

My NDE changed the way I pray or communicate with my personal God. If God is a metaphor then she is a greatly misunderstood one. The God I met in my Near Death Experience is love but if you can't believe in a loving God then believe in love that never ends and it will be the same thing.o Love always was, is, and forever love will always be...love... The God who is love to me is a better way of describing what never dies but if you can't believe in a creator God then separate the two words "God" and "Creator" from one another and check your own B.S. meter.

The word "God" carries a lot of baggage in my estimation. There is a love that never dies and that love for me I sometimes call God but I regularly use other words that don't carry the same baggage as words like God or Creator to describe my personal God. Often, in my own way of communicating with what is eternal, I use other names for God but when I am asking for things that die, I usually say "God." If you want what dies then pray to the father of it. If you can't believe in God though, then don't be too hard on yourself, I don't blame you for denying the existence of an oppressive God... Denial allows you to go on with your life...but there is something greater than the God that men pray to when they hope not to die....there is love...so believe in love that never dies and you and I are closer to one another in belief than most.

I pray less frequently for things since returning to my body. Once you know who the source of things are, it kind of takes the wind out of your sail. Praying for heart changes is a pretty good one. Praying blessings on others is a good prayer. Praying for things is good but mostly just checking in all day and bouncing ideas off of love and seeing what comes back...listening... maybe listening is what I do different... Before my NDE I prayed but I never expected an answer in words so to say...but things...but when you don't pray for things then it usually means you might have to be part of the solution...and if you don't know the answer...you might need to listen for instructions...
