Re: Great magensium Info! more questions-re-topical magnesium..
Great info, is this something you wrote or do you have a link so that I could save it to my bookmarks?
Im interested in making my own topical magnesium chloride like the infamous 'magic oil' used to restore magnesium levels topically without causing diarrhea. Do you know where I can find magnesium chloride salts for use in the bath and otherwise?
Another question-do the salt forms of
citric acid , chloride, sulfate etc supply any nutrition to the body-ie vitamin c (
citric acid ) or chloride etc? Are these salts neutral when it comes to health-do they effect the body in any significant ways?
I still dont understand why magnesium sulphate makes my skin dry (when taken internally) as opposed to mg citrate which does not. I know I have a deficiency because mg relieves a lot of symptoms for me-insomnia, depression, fatigue etc. But I wonder if perhaps it might be the citric salt that is helping some of these symptoms by blocking or enhancing other minerals. I do notice that when I take a lot of mg citrate that my saliva and mucus are 'salty' tasting like when I have taken in too much salt but yet I do not get symptoms that I would get had I actually eaten too much salt.
thanks again, your info has helped me understand much. =)
