Help?!

Ok, I just literally a few minutes ago noticed a slight pain in my neck, and now i can feel a lump! aaah! it wasnt there before! It's on my neck just a bit under my chin, quite hard, anyone know what it could be? I have hypothyroidism btw, but I think its above my gland, and I've never got that before. Thankyou x
