Re: Mineral Wraps *Edited*

We were, in essence, meant to get and be dirty... With a coating of dust, dirt, what have you and a little sweat mixed in; well... mineral wrap :-)

then most likely bathe, other than an occasional wipe down, in a running stream, lake, or in a rain shower. I am sure the upper classes throughout history may have had the baths etc. but did they bathe daily? I doubt it. Most likely they did not bathe with toxic chemical soaps and perfumes.

I wonder what the history of this is... It was most likely not until the advent of running water and plumbing that most people had the luxury of daily showers and baths. Another piece of the health puzzle?

I have been to a natural hot springs that is fairly unknown in my state; known by a few old hippies and a state historian or two. 4x4 or a very long all day hike from the nearest highway. If one is lucky they find themselves alone for a few days :-) On a busy weekend sharing the spring with a dozen people or so.

I do know that after an intense mineral bath at home (high dosing of ES, BS, Clay, a little h2o2, etc.) I can sweat like crazy, even after getting out for an additional hour or two. I mean dripping, wringing wet. Did one last night and drank three liters of water during and after... slept all the way through the night, so I must have sweat most of what I drank out.

Skin is tighter too after these baths. I do not weigh myself so cannot confirm weight loss or inches lost. The cost does approach $10 - $15 (retail) or so with all of the ingredients. I can only do them once or twice a week.

I would bet that the wrap, intensifies the bathing effect. Like when we were in high school wrestling and wore rubber suits during workouts to make weigh ins by sweating pounds off (double digits usually)... the difference here being no minerals... most of us would take salt tablets and water and put the weight back on rather quickly.

fledgling had some good thoughts too.
