and actually done that. Sure, my best friend (known here at CZ as Eggface) lives a few blocks from there. I go by it all the time.:-P
The place is small and the story is fantastic. If you look at his face (Ed) in the pictures he looks either mad or otherworldly, perhaps a bit of both. But the truth of the matter is that for me, seeing tons of tourists and grade school kids on field trips, day in and day out, takes away some of the mystery from the story.
BTW, one interesting thing for sure is that Homestead was in the path of a category 5 hurricane in '92, hurricane Andrew. It destroyed the whole town so that it seemed impossible that it would ever be rebuilt. (It has) But nothing happened to Coral Castle. How's that?
