Re: $$$$$$$$$$$$....money

I love saving money, even if its not actually saving that much.
I make piles of money around my room. I have a whole system. I have whats in my wallet(I carry between 20 and 50 around with me for daily stuff usually), then a spare pile where I throw the tips I made that night if my wallet is already pretty full..then I do something that whenever I get a 20 dollar bill, I put it in an envelope in my dresser and save money that way..I think of that as my "bank" and only take money out of the "bank" for special stuff, like today I took a hundred out to get my hair done for a special treat. And no I dont worry about spending a hundred on my hair here and there, because even though technically I probably should think "I cant afford this" I know thats not right thinking, I know Im responsible and worth a hundred dollars to make my hair beautiful and for me to feel confident.
Anyways, along with the rest of my system, every time my "bank" gets to 5 hundred dollars-like when I go awhile without taking a ton of money out, which has not been the case lately lol- I take that 5 hundred in cash and put it into my REAL savings account. A 6 month locked account that has 4 percent interest. I never touch it and never will for anything other than something life changing (as in, to travel around the world for a year or two, or to set myself up with a place to live for 6 months, etc). Its only a few thousand in there now, but I feel if I save and keep adding to it plus interest its gonna be a nice chunk of change after awhile. Knowing its there, will add to the mentality of financial security which will in turn attract more money to me.
With my system, I always seem to have money to spend, and I always seem to be saving money at the same time. Im not sure how it works, but it somehow keeps building my money. One thing I think is very important is to LIVE as best you can. I go out to dinner and movies, when I see an item of clothing I REALLY want and looks great on me, I go ahead and get it. I dont go nuts but I always make sure to feel like Im also living in the moment. I think this is important to a healthy financial mentality. Im not saying dont watch your spending because I do, but have balance. Also, find ways to "live rich" without spending a ton of money. Learn to cook. I cook gormet style meals at home all the time, delicious, healthy food that makes me feel so lucky to be alive in the moment. I probably spend 70 bucks every two weeks on groceries, and I can stretch it out to three weeks if neccessary{as in, eat everything I have before I go back to the store). My friends always say I spend a lot on groceries and I sorta do, but I get a lot of GOOD healthy tasty stuff, stuff that will make me want to stay home and eat, and my friends maybe go spend 50 bucks on processed crap and white bread and end up eating like 10 fast food meals a week. They probably spend twice what I do on food and Im eating healthier, better food than they are. If Im gonna go spend money on food, I go to a nice restaurant and enjoy the entire experiance, I dont blow my money on fast food crap.
Well that about sums up my attitude about money. I try to never worry about it. I often pray to god that I will always be given what I need, or what God wants me to have available for my use. I dont expect or ask to be spoiled. But I feel when you enjoy the little things you ARE spoiled, or at least feel pampered.
It must be working for me, because money is always appearing out of nowhere for me. I found a 20 on the ground just last month. Just sitting there, no one in sight. Ive found fives on the ground, and twenties on the ground before. My friends always get mad and say "why does that never happen to me!!" and they are the ones constantly whining about being poor. Also, quite a few times when Ive gotten off work and counted my tips when I got home, there was twenty or even fourty more dollars than Id thought Id made. Each time Ive been worried I accidentally shorted my cash drop (Im a delivery driver, we take our tips out at the end of the night and the rest is dropped in the safe) and each time Ive asked to make sure I didnt short my drop, and my drop has always been right on. Its like money literally appeared out of nowhere!
I should point out that Im in debt (paying off a new transmission I had to buy for my car) and my situation is far from perfect. BUt I have to believe everything will be okay, and that I will have everything I need. You will too!

I babbled on forever lol sorry. I hope something Ive said helped!
