My experience - may help...
I've been reading around a little and have to say: so many strange stories about bumps!!!
Let me share my story, it may help some.
I've never had any kind of problem in this area during my life - until the past couple of years. I believe everything started with my yeast infection. Nothing serious, it just didn't go away. Whole lot of tests, medication, cream, whatever - it didn't go away. Meantime I was in a serious relationship (I still am, we are married now) and I have to say it just for the records: we didn't cheat on each other for sure, it was just between the two of us.
I have had this yeast problem for years now and things started to be strange. First I discovered a bump in that area, first VERY itchy, then fills up with liquid and turns painful. It always comes at the same spot!!!! My first thought was: herpes. Tests were done: negative. Then my husband started to get the same strange bumps on his penis. You can imagine, he freaked out...
Nowadays when I'm under extreme pressure either in my job or privately this bump comes back (only rarely I have 2 of them at the same time).
Also if we have sex an immediate(!!) shower is in order for my husband (normaly for everyone anyway, but the point here is: for him it has to be right away)or the bump comes back in a day or two for sure.
After all this explanation one thing is crystal clear: it can be passed on...
Now I don't have any idea how to make it gone for good, I only know how it started and with the yeast control diet (you can read about it on this site) and the cleanses (parasite, P&B shakes etc.) it got much better, even I don't stick with the diet anymore, just trying to avoid certain food, doing some cleanses regularly, it's much-much-much better than before. Also I try to avoid stress as much as possible.
So I think the bottom line is: if you have a similar problem, try to find out what triggers it and try to avoid that, also read a lot about strengthening the immune system, avoid bad food, do cleanses etc. to give this "bug" a very little chance to reappear. I believe it's in my system for life and right now not much I can do, only try to control it this way.
Not good news for some but maybe it helps to know some people out there have the same struggles as you do - hang in there!!!
