Cayenne on a Cut

Today I was a little dumb and, in attempting to get the lid off of a can, I sliced my hand and finger. Blood came gushing out all over the place! So I poured some tequila over it and then I dumped a bunch of powdered red pepper on my hand and pressed it into the cuts. That reduced the bleeding quickly, then stopped it. I'm not pleased with myself, but this has been my first real chance to try out the cayenne on bleeding, and I'm glad to see that it worked pretty well. So far, so good. It didn't hurt, either.
