Lugol's skin burn warning or question

Hi Y'all,

About a month ago I got a dark red (level, non-itching, non-sensitive) spot on the top of my foot. It started growing in size and was irregular shape. Since I started Lugol's and am having such wonderful results, I thought I would put it on the spot. To my surprise it wouldn't stick to it...it ran off like I was putting it on plastic. I guess that was my "sign" and I should have left well enough alone, but no, not me...I insisted. So I put some Lugol's on a band-aid and put it over the spot and went to mow the lawn. It felt a bit of burn, but I thought that was fine and that it was helping somehow. Well, I guess it annoyed the spot, because upon completion of mowing, I went in to shower, removed the band-aid, and it was as big as the band-aid now and surrounding the spot was a burn...near blister. Now, two days later, the blister is sluffing off and the spot remains.

So this is a warning to others not to do this....but moreso it is a question to anyone who might know what happened...or what the dark red spot might be. (I don't know if this matters, but I've been winning the battle with leukemia for 3 years now...going all natural and doing well).

Thanks y'all!
