I facilitate many programs for at-risk youth...Kids always seem to teach me more than I teach them. Imagine they are 10-20 kids and I am just me. Teachers often fail kids by silencing them with information overload and they miss out on learning. I just throw out ideas and kids come up with their own learnings...These kids dream different dreams than me but their dreams are just as beautiful as my dreams and they have ten times the energy I have. I hope I have modeled a way of thinking...I just love the kids I do programs for...I am just a low energy form of them... When I lived in Mexico for a year...I taught english.... but I learned... more importantly... that social networks are the greatest weakness of the culture in North America. With hundreds of friends that care about you...it is difficult to steer wrong... The Mexicans that had emotional and mental problems to me were those that were isolated from family and friends. I am so glad that the CureZone is here...filling in a missing link in my social network. Thanx CureZone
