this reminds me of a story someone told me recently about the water situation in Africa. Of course, people have to travel a long way to get (often filthy or chem-contaminated) water. So when interviewed about it, the dictator of the country said that keeping people busy worrying about water keeps them too occupied to question the system and revolt against it!

So we get the chem. contaminated water delivered right to our taps under the guise of the advantages of fluoridation in an industrial nation!
