if you believe that God is The Source of all that is, was, and ever shall be, then even evil ultimately originates from the Source. all things serve the greater purpose, including evil.

of course some will say that God gave his creations free will, and then they chose to create evil of their own accord. but okay, that still means that ultimately the whole thing originated from God. the POSSIBILITY to even choose evil was created by God. if God had wanted to God could have simply left that off the table, God could have not allowed the option of choosing evil, but God did allow it, so ultimately it originates from the Creator, whether directly or indirectly.
