My observation is that most participants on CZ are from the USA. In Canada, doctors are paid for the service of writing a presciption, any prescription and that service is paid for by the provinicial taxpayer ! No wonder drugs are lower cost here ! The pharma companies have a great lock and want to keep it. Imagine having the tax payer paying your "sales staff" ? They have basically managed all aspects of the sickness care industry and there is little emphasis on health care, as a result.
