Chemical concentrations are in certain parts of the herb. Use the Walnut Tree for example, the entire tree can be used and has many uses depending on the time of the year and part used of the tree.
I like herbs that the entire plant can be used and avoid toxic plants. Take rubarb for example, people make pies from the stems, while the leaf will kill a human. Same for potatoes, tomatoes, etc....their leaves can be deadly.
