Very Disheartened

the news that cindy quit the anti war movement is really depressing. she watched in frustration as the dems totally caved last week. the dems - how pathetic, an opposition party that never opposes anything.

the reality is that MOST ppl are against the war, but NO ONE seems to really care enough to actually do anything about it. the military industrial complex is now in full control of our government and ppl are more concerned about american idol and anna nicole smith than the fact that the crime of the century is being committed in all our names.

it seems nobody really cares too much. "affluenza"? perhaps, but so many in this country are no longer affluent and haven't been for a good while. i dont really know. it just sucks, its disheartening. the war machine grinds on, and we all stand here watching it. are we really that helpless in its face??
