It is ironic that you posted that now. I am presently going through the Herxheimer Reaction. I see an applied kinesiologist and i discovered that my pituitary gland was screwed up and I wasn't making hardly any testosterone. He put me on a homeopathic to try to permanently fix the problem but in the meantime I went to an MD and got a prescription for a testosterone cream. My levels were that low (lower then an 80 year old man and I am 39). I had immediate bad reactions when I went on this cream. I thought I was allergic. I stopped it after 3 days. My face became red and inflamed and very broken out and I felt like I had a bad case of the flu. I had to miss a few days of work. I went in to see the AK and brought the cream and he tested my bodies reaction to it and it turned out that I am suffering from numerous low grade infections and that the testosterone is killing them off. My pituitary homeopathic also tests to killing them off, so I took that to mean that it will eventually make my body produce more testosterone. For this reason I went off the cream and figured I would wait for the homeopathic to kick in. It has been two months and it finally has. I feel terrible right now but am actually very pleased about this because I know the infections are slowly dieing off.
