Can you get herpes by sleeping with someone who had Chicken pox or Shingles?

I slept with a girl who was coming out of chicken pox/shingles. 2 months later(didn't have sex w/anyone else) I notice lots of itching down there and now itching on my arms and whole body practically. From the photos I've seen it looks like could be genital herpes. Could I have caught because she had shingles, or was it probably dormant for quite some time and just came out. I've had these syptoms for over almost 4 weeks now. haven't gone away. Is it something else?
