I'm a recovering Maybelline/Clinique addict!

I think VCO is great and I have also had a lot of visible results with olive and red palm oil mixed with a little bit of iodine.

Anyone who has done Iodine painting knows about absorption through the skin! It really does go in there as opposed to wearing off. My daughter had a henna tattoo a couple of weeks ago and it just stayed on her arm for days without fading, but Iodine does absorb.

The other danger of cosmetics is the particulate matter from powdered makeup. It is now recommended that mothers not use baby powder because of potential damage to their kids' lungs. Imagine the when people apply powder, blush, etc. all of the stuff floating around (I am also thinking, hair spray...) to inhale. Something tells me this stuff is worse than tobacco.
