Re: Questions: Mg citrate/sulfate, gallbladder bile entry/exit...

Hi Tony,
Thanks for responding. I just could not understand how stones from the liver could get into the sack that is
the gallbladder that seems to only have one entry. Which means new bile will get into the outlet portion of
the gallbladder (cystic duct) and stones from the liver might too. So I found this site, which says: "The cystic
duct allows reflux into the gallbladder, when Boyden's sphincter choledochus at the duodenal outlet of the
common bile duct is closed". So I understand that at the final outlet into the duodenum there is a valve. That
would still allow bile to flow into the pancreas so maybe there is another valve.

Last night (4 d after successful first flush) I had another attack at 2:30 am. So I tried the Mg citrate (10 oz which
was definitely too much for me) which was surprisingly good tasting (like lemon pop! So definitely worth the price),
two ibuprofen and a hot water bottle. Slept ok after about ½ h pain till 6:30 and again felt pressure. So did a "mini"
flush with 3 Tbsp olive oil and ½ lemon, apple juice for breakfast at 8. Major runnies all day , weak and at first was
not sure could go to work but was surprisingly energetic. Bunch of tan stones (before most were green inside)
came out throughout the day, which surprised me.
Can definitely recommend the citrate but have to figure milder dose.

Not looking forward to the number of flushes posted to get rid of pain but at least there is hope and citrate!
