Kidney cleanse herbs and strange reaction
Hi fellow flushers!
A couple of months ago I had a kidney crisis when I ran out of my favourite kidney herb supplement and did a
Liver Flush anyways. My kidneys did not respond to my usual herb supplements when I did get them. I've tried Banaba tea (relieved pain and cleared up the condition immediately causing it) and Clark's
kidney cleanse tea (Hydrangea root, Marshmallow Root, Gravel Root, Ginger Root, Uva Ursi, Vitamin B6, Magnesium Oxide, Goldenrod). I also take about 10,000 mg of chlorella a day, which I haven't had trouble with since I started them about 4 months ago.
I noticed shortly after beginning the Clark Cleanse that I developed a redness around the outside corner of my right eye (liver side). The redness was reduced but not eliminated if I slept on my left side. I left out the Goldenrod in case of an allergy, but this didn't affect it. I've taken Vitamin B6, Ginger Root and Magnesium Oxide previously with no ill effects.
I did another 2 liver flushes, one shortly after beginning the Clark Cleanse, and one 3 weeks later. My kidneys seem to be gradually improving - morning puffiness under the eyes has been reduced to an hour or two now. However, the redness and dry skin around the corner of the right eye has gotten worse. I've also noticed redness appearing under the other eye. Today, the redness erupted into a small, dry, itchy blister.
By the way, the Hydrangea acts well to reduce stones to gravel.
Am I having an allergic reaction to something? Is this a detox symptom and not an allergy? Do you think I should avoid cleansers using these herbs, or go ahead?
I want to take a month break from kidney cleansing, and then try the Moritz Kidney Formula, which has the same first 5 ingredients.
Any information, comments, or recommendations would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks
