I would recommend soaking in detox baths of
Epsom Salts and hydrogen peroxide (or apple cider vinegar, as I use). Get the water as hot as you can bear with 1lb ES and a cup of ACV and soak for 15-20 minutes. This will speed up the elimination of toxins through the skin, so shower afterwards to remove any toxins from the skin's surface. A sauna/steam room will have the same effect as this.
Exfoliation is also an important skin care step. I mix up a scrub of brown sugar, olive oil and finely grated lemon peel and zest. Massage into skin after a bath/shower in circular motions, then rinse off. The olive oil will help moisturise which is also vital in preventing acne.
Body brushing is another useful tool in speeding up the removal of toxins through the skin and helping keep pores free of dead skin cells. Perform daily before showering for best results.
On top of all this, there's the obvious drink plenty of water, take regular exercise and eat a diet rich in fruit, vegetables and wholegrains. Also be sure you are getting essential fatty acids into your diet through eating oily fish, avacados, olive/hemp oil and nuts & seeds. These will all help balance the skin's moisture levels, as I notice the skin on your knee seems rather dry.
