The mouth and jaw is a complex system of tubular canals. Microbes can migrate to other parts of the mouth/jaw. The jaw itself is hollow. I had a small puncture inside my mouth from eating something sharp and the infection radiated up the jaw to the ear. It is known that infected teeth and gums can damage organs because the micro tubules channel to them from the teeth. I used warm salt water to stop the infection (recommended by my dentist) and it did the trick.
Someone I knew had a tooth she was nursing for a year because she could not afford the dentist and did not want the tooth fixed/removed. She was applying a home remedy of clove oil etc to the tooth which had turned nearly black. One day she was not feeling well and went to the doctor for a check up. She collapsed and died in the doctors office. The autopsy found that her heart was dissolved by bacteria. It was mush. The tooth she had been self treating was the one that connects to the heart meridian.
Probably if you have a bad tooth have it fixed by a competent dentist.
