Herpes/Coconut Oil/Oral Sex??

Hey, question here...

I have Herpes I and I have mild outbreaks now and again, but I notice a mild tingle more often, and there is general redness in my cold sore "spot" that I think is nerve damage from a period a few years ago when i had multiple outbreaks in a short period of time.

anyway, I'm dating a guy, and I am cautious about having oral sex because I am worried about the possibility of H II, even if I don't have a cold sore.

Do you think that using coconut oil before/during/after would help protect against any potential herpes?
