D. nailed it good. Olive-Oil is high in HDL (the good cholesterol). There are others as well. Your body needs HDL fats to function propperly and it even needs a certain amount of the LDL to work right too. In the case of "high Cholesterol" it's probably the LDL that's too high and you need to cut way back on LDL fats like you find in meat, fried foods etc.
