I did have an ultrsound but didnt look at the screen back in June,They said gall stones are present is all I knew.I didnt know much about this back then as it was my first real knowledge that I had gall stones. In looking at the screen this time I dont know if I could determine if there was a change because this is not like looking at a photograph,I had this operator explain to me how he knew I had stones,it is about shadows on the back side which means according to him that the sound waves are bouncing back off the stones.I could see the bile duct clearly. Also this was done at a different facility so that there could not be a comparison by the same operator. He did say they were small stones, also the way I understand it is that you keep producing stones until the liver is clear and healthy. This will only be accomplished thru a good nutritional diet and over time because it takes time.Of utmost importance is to not have attacks and to eat healthy and careful until things begin to work right again.I was very happy that everything looked normal other than the stones.this will enable me to continue and hopefully save the GB.Jim
