Signs of the Death Spiral?

Why are so many men walking around with shaven or balding heads? it seems like an epidemic. And why so proud of it too? It is so prevalent that it has somehow become something that is attractive or appealing.

It seems it is more a reflection of a widespread spiral that is going downhill. It represents health or the lack thereof. To blame it all on heredity is nonsense. It seems more like it is sickness and a sign of death. Drugs, poisoned water, parasites etc are slowly killing us but we have found a way to embrace it even though it is really the death spiral manifesting itself.

Yes some will say it is attractive and they just love billiard balls for heads but put a picture of a man with hair next to the same guy shaven like Mr Clean and I know what I would choose.
