Re: Attn Molly: Skin tags??
I have found that this only works for me if I follow the
Iodine with a band-aid or something like that. It needs to be something that does not breathe. Actually, once upon a time, I have removed one with nothing more than a small piece of "duct" tape; and leave it on for about 24 hours. Back to the iodine, I have found that I need to leave the band-aid on for a day as well. When I remove the band-aid, the tag looks like I have "burned" it. It is scabbed. Also the surrounding skin looks to be somewhat harmed as well; but not as bad as the place that received most of the iodine. I am not careful; as the
Iodine is liquid and will not stay in the spot where I want it to. After a while, a few days, the scab will fall of and the surrounding skin will dry and flake off as well. Then it looks more pink than the body skin for a little while too.
I have done this, successfully, with flat moles as well. The same thing happens. Actually, when I remove the band-aid, the mole is no longer flat; but scabbed anyway. First I say, "why have I done this to myself?" Then my confidence comes back; and as usual, everything is okay and I like myself again.
I'm not sure what causes skin tags. I am definitely not obese. I escaped the draft in 1968 (Vietnam era) by being underweight. I still am. I really think that skin tags are due to the way that
Sugar is processed by the body. Just an observation.
Hope this helps.
