Pinworm Cleansing & Re-Infection

Advice to a customer about pinworm cleansing:

"Re-infection from pinworms is very high. This is because the females come out at night and lay their eggs on the anus, underclothing and bedclothes. These eggs can also become air-borne and live without a host for up to 2 days.

During your cleanse it is very important that you change your bedsheets daily and wash them in hot water and bleach if possible - this will kill the eggs. Also wash your underclothing in hot water. If possible, dis-infect your bathroom daily while cleansing to kill and remove any "floating" pinworm eggs. And make sure you wash your hands after every trip to the restroom and periodically throughout the day.

These things will greatly lessen the chance of pinworm re-infection."
