It is so interesting that you would bring up connective tissue and Iodine because I have been curious about the effect Iodine has on sulfur/MSM. In the past, I have had trouble using MSM as it caused pain in my bladder. That pain was often helped by potassium but not to the point that I could use MSM regularly or at more than 500mg every few days.
Since I began iodine, I have tried MSM again. My skin improved so much with the Iodine I wondered if the MSM would further the progress. Thing is, I used 1000mg instead of 500mg and didn't have any negative reactions. In fact, a small breakout on my face that had started shortly after I began the iodine again, cleared up.
Basically, I'm wondering if anyone has any detailed info on how iodine affects the body's use of organic sulfur, and if anyone has found that they need or benefit more from MSM while taking iodine.
