You might need to turn it off then on.

I had to do that with the wife's Outlook spell checker yesterday.

Said it was on but didn't work.

Turned spell checking off then on......started working.

Aren't computers grand.

That was by the way a great catch.

The cramping is common with people who haven't been taking enough fiber.

Loose bowels by adding MORE fiber sounds counter to what should happen.

I would go with the citrus pectin as the culprit.
