If Young does suggest a mixing oil I am not aware of it. Most of their oils I am able to apply directly to the skin without discomfort. Today I am using Wintergreen oil on my neck and it is making quite a difference. Smells good too.
One of Young's beliefs is that viruses lie dormant in the spinal column from where they arise when the body is under stress. These viruses can be transmitted from the parent at birth as is the case with the shingles (herpes) virus.
I randomly dab oils along the spine and select whatever oil intuitively catches my attention at the time. They may or may not 'do something'. I always appreciate the way they smell and that alone is enough to put a smile on my face.
I apply the Juvaflex oil along the underside of the lower right ribcage to stimulate and tone the liver. The Thyme as I mentioned I apply to the lower spine (to help reach the colon) and the Thymus gland. From what I have read the oils are carried throughout the body and used as needed so where they are applied may not make a huge difference.
One of the main things I like about the oils is that they are effective without needing to be ingested through the digestive system. There is something intrigueing about bypassing the oral systems and transporting through the skin.
Have a Great Day!
