Another Filling Material??

I decided against Heliomolar HB because of the flouride release and the Bis-GMA (sp?). I just saw another biologic dentist today, and I like him a lot. He has "Esthet-x" as a composite filling material, but we talked a lot about using this stuff:

cerec vita porcelain

He has a computer-driven machine which grinds it into an "onlay". Can you give any feedback on this material and procedure, and the durability of a porcelain onlay? I have two smallish amalgams in my molars.

Also, he pretty much concurred with the other biologic dentist about not doing anything with my 3 wisdom teeth sockets and my root canal/crown. The x-rays look like nothing is wrong with them, and they don't bother me at all. But, I saw where you and others have said that almost 100% of wisdom teeth extractions and root canals show bone infections.

Lastly, there is some kind of metal in my gum under the tooth with the root canal/crown. What do you think that metal is, and should I get it out?
