To parrotgreen re MSG interference

Hi Parrot,
I got this back from Dr. F. regarding what you'd posted about glutamate
in foods and the possible or probable interference with iodine.
Here is what he had to say:

It takes over 30,000mg for glutamine to convert to glutamate, to
create MSG. I am using only 1000mg per day. I have spoken to the company Ph.D.
who works with glutamine and they are aware of the Iodine effect. Our
collagen is approved by the European Union and Health Ministries of
different countries which do not approve MSG.

So I'm still going to continue to use the hydrolyzed collagen!
