OT_It’s called delusional.

An old American saying

"From shirtsleeves to shirt sleeves in three generations."

Best describes the process that ALL societies succumb to.

Simply put the decedents are no longer aware of their required obligation of limiting the government THEY have imposed upon themselves.

Rather than being an instrument of the people they come to believe the government is some Mother figure that will provide a tit to suck on and keep the bullies at bay.

After a mere three generations it’s easy for government to trade the illusion of security for it’s own control.

No longer do the people control the government, it controls them.

It’s all done with what I’ve come to call legalese.

A twisting of words to pervert the original intent.
