Water Ionizers - junkscience?

I currently have an RO system and it does work well . I'm told that it is dead water though . I do know that it's mildly acidic , which I don't like , coming in around pH 5 . One option that has been touted to me is a Water Ionizer . I know that there is too much info on the web , much of it conflicting . Water ionizing , structured water , living water , water clustering etc etc have all been labeled as water quackery on one site I went to . I'd probably be willing to get an ionizer if they weren't so expensive , starting at almost $750 ! I hear about all of the benefits of ionizing water and they try to wow you with all of the tech talk and what their systems do but , of course there is no way to confirm any of this , is there ? Does anyone on here have direct experience with these systems as well as an obvious improvement in health ? Thanks out there !
