Re: Boycott China!!
not an easy/simple answer to China. At least in the relative recent, it was during slick bill's reign he granted them "most favored nation" trading status.... and kicked in a few treasonous technology secrets along the way. Meanwhile, the bush syndicate has not backed off that trend any.
I'm with you in spirit, but at this stage of the game, to truly boycott china is another way of saying don't_buy_much_of_anything to be found lining most of the shelves of your typical B-grade merchandise outlets in America. This means boycott pretty much all of what wallmart has to offer (and their numerous subsidiaries, such as Sams Club), likewise with K-mart, and Sears, and Home Depot, and Loews, and Pier 1 Imports, and Target and Value City and Kohls, and, and, and......It's been many years since I last visited a Saks....anyone know if they sell goods other than those produced in Asian slave labor camps? It's been close to 2 years since I last stepped foot in a wallmart.... the day I trapsed back and forth in that place for near 2 hours looking for something, anything, not made in china. I finally found a coffe mug, real pottery stuff, made in Italy, of all places.....possibly an inventory mistake?
