Silver coating

I have been making Colloidal Silver for years using a zapper. I filter the water and store it in a glass amber bottles. Yesterday a friend of mine dropped a bottle and it broke. I was very surprised when I saw that the entire inside of the bottle was coated with a film of silver. What is going on here? Has anyone else experienced this?
